What is agricultural waste?
1. Overview

As householders and businesses we all produce waste. Waste is defined as 'any substance or object....which the holder discards or intends or is required to discard.'
You do produce waste on your farm. This is known as agricultural waste. There is no definitive list of agricultural waste, but we have provided some common examples of agricultural waste.
This training tool is for farmers. Each of the learning modules will help you understand a different aspect of managing your waste. Each module should take less than 15 minutes to complete and has a quiz at the end so that you can test your knowledge.
